Abstract

Cette invention concerne un moteur à combustion interne conjugué à un dispositif d'entraînement auxiliaire coopérant avec ce moteur. Il est prévu, entre le moteur et le dispositif auxiliaire, qui est constitué par un moteur à circulation Rankine, un turbo-compresseur entraîné lui-même par les gaz d'échappement du moteur à combustion interne. Ces gaz d'échappement sont dirigés ensuite vers le dispositif auxiliaire, et lorsque le régime tombe au-dessous d'une valeur déterminée, ce dernier dispositif participe à l'entraînement du turbo-compresseur pour fournir de l'air comprimé au moteur. Cette combinaison permet d'obtenir un meilleur rendement pour le moteur à combustion interne.
