Abstract

A ball sorting device for games such as billiards, snooker etc., uses balls of the same dia. but of different weights are achieved by making the balls from materials of different densities. The balls (3) which have fallen into the table pockets roll into the channel (4), and onto a second transverse channel (10) with a cut-out (17). A short piece of angle section (18) is mounted on the end of a spring loaded lever (14). The heavy balls depress the lever (14) so that they roll of the angle section (18). The lighter balls remain on the channel (10) and roll off at the end(9).
