[Class 132 (ii).] The apparatus comprises a channelled guideway 1, upwardly inclined from each end to the apex 1', spring projectors 8 serving to project a ball from either end 2 of the guideway into scoring holes 6 located above the opposite end of the guideway and leading through guides formed by struts 6a, 9 to corresponding scoring channels A on the base 3. To feed balls from the channels A into the guideway 1, controls R are actuated, whereupon the balls fall through holes Q in the channels A on to a slope P in the base 3 where they are held, as shown in Fig. 4, by a lever S<2> until the lever S is depressed, when they roll under and lift a pivotal lever T against the action of a spring W, the first ball rolling into a chamber M. The chamber M is fixed to a disc K, Fig. 6, which is now rotated by a handle O until the chamber M abuts against a stop Y<2> when the ball rolls through an aperture Y on te the guideway 1, the balls being conveyed one by one in this manner to either end of the guideway according to the direction of rotation of the disc. Lamps E having guards F are provided and illuminated from a battery housed in the base 3. A scoring pad and pencil &c. may be housed under a sliding lid B<1>.
