Abstract

The partitioning system uses inner and outer skins consisting of panels (16) gripped between hollow flanged verticals (17) supported by an inner framework using C-section vertical channels (7) and designed to support and guide pipes for water, gas, electricity and telephone lines etc. Special clips can be used to support cables from short intermediate verticals suspended from above, and pipe supports or members attached to the base. Holes are made through the channels for the pipes and cables. Plugs fit into the bases of the channels for feet, and similar intermediate plugs in the taps for adding a vertical extension. The channels are combined to make bends, T junctions, and cross junctions. The whole is bolted together with bolts (18) through openings down the outside verticals (17).
