Abstract
The circuit of the fire protection installation is designed to operate a number of units in sequence using a relatively small power source. After the fire the installation is remotely reset into the original operating condition. The resetting is achieved by reversing the voltage polarity of the system. The system consists of a number of fire protection units (1, 2 ... n) controlled by corresponding fire detection elements (D1...). Each unit works together with actuating elements containing an electromagnetic trigger assembly, which releases the actuating elements when fed with a voltage of a predetermined polarity. The operation is sequential in such a manner that initially fire protection unit (1) is actuated. The operation is extended to subsequent units via time element (T) by switching gear (a). The system is fitted with a switch (X), which by reversing the voltage polarity achieves the resetting of all actuating elements into their previous operating condition.
