Abstract

Régénérateur rotatif comportant un rotor en matériau absorbant la chaleur, alternativement exposé à des fluides chaud et froid afin de transmettre la chaleur de fluide chaud au fluide froid. Le rotor est entouré par une enveloppe 28 comportant des plaques en secteur 34 coopérant, aux deux extrémités du rotor, avec un joint d'arbre de rotor pour séparer les deux fluides. Un dispositif original de support des plaques en secteur et du joint d'arbre de rotor permet à ces organes de se déplacer tant axialement que radialement pour épouser les mouvements thermiques du rotor en assurant une étanchéité optimale. Applications courantes.
