Abstract

The storage and drawing barrel consists essentially of a wooden cask in the classical style which has a fixed front wall (1) provided with a draw or bung (2). In this case, the rear wall (3) is removable and has a rod (5) engaging in a tube (4) fixed to the inside of the cask. Also inside the cask is placed a parallepiped plastic container (7), such as those used to transport wine, resting on supports (6). The outlet from this container is connected by a supple pipe (8) to the draw tap. The container collapses as wine is removed, thus preventing air being trapped, and it can be thrown away when empty, thus avoiding cleaning of the cask. Refrigeration equipment can also be incorporated inside the cask.
