Abstract

Ski boot consists of a front and back part which are joined together by a detachable tie piece. The back part (4) of the ski shoe has at least two sections (48, 50) which are vertically displaced from one another and joined by hinges. The hinges are positioned vertically above the heel part, are made of one piece and of the same material as the outer covering of the ski boot. An insert extends between the two hinges and forms a separating line between the heel sections (48, 50) enabling the top section to move backwards and forwards with the movement of the leg.
