Abstract

Colouring equipment for a label printing and positioning machine includes rollers which are rolled over a selected type surface. The coloured type surface is brought in contact with a label and the printed label positioned on an object. The equipment is provided with a grip mechanism fitted with a yoke (40) which is activated by pressure on a hand lever (2). The colouring rollers (42, 43) are carried by a support link (36) which is operationally attached to the yoke (40) by a number of links (7, 15, 16, 19, 21, 27, 30) and are positioned by a guide (23, 28, 34). When the hand lever is pressed the grip mechanism guides the colouring rollers to the housing of the label printing and positioning machine. The grip mechanism is provided with two fixed points (4) of rotation which are positioned on a frame (44) of the label printing and positioning machine and with two points of rotation located on the yoke arm (40) and with a number of pairs of movable points of rotation (17, 18, 20, 29).
