Abstract

A grip is used for controlling the tension in an elastic body working in traction. It comprises two yokes which are integral with a first and a second lever arm (7, 8) respectively and are connected together by an articulated system which answers that the yokes come together when the two arms are gripped together. Each yoke has jaws between which the body is gripped as the two halves of each jaw come together. The yoke concerned is connected to one of the terminals of a force measuring device.
