Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de brais constituant des liants. Ce procédé qui utilise un mélange d'une fraction résiduelle aromatique de produits de base du pétrole et une fraction de goudron de houille suivant un rapport de mélange de 1 :9 à 9 : 1, le mélange étant ensuite chauffé, se caractérise en qu'au cours de son réchauffement, ledit mélange est maintenu au contact d'un agent d'extraction de l'hydrogène, notamment un gaz contenant de l'oxygène tel que de l'air. Ce gaz est introduit à raison de 200-400 litres/heures/kg de mélange La fraction de goudron de houille est un brai de goudron de houille présentant un point de ramollissement à 80 degrés C. Le produit résiduel du pétrole est un résidu aromatique provenant d'une installation de cracking en naphte, présentant un point de ramollissement de 50-80 degrés C. Le procédé conforme à l'invention permet de fabriquer des brais par exemple pour les matériaux de construction des routes.
