Abstract
Dispositif de stérilisation par rayonnement ultraviolet, essentiellement de 254 nm de longueur d'onde, le fluide à stériliser balayant transversalement une source de rayonnement à enveloppe cylindrique. La tubulure 3 dans laquelle circule le fluide 1 à stériliser est traversée par au moins un tube protecteur cylindrique de quartz 6 qui renferme une source de rayonnement 10 constituée d'un tube à décharge à vapeur de mercure à basse pression et à haute intensité, le fluide balayant ce tube 6 en passant autour de lui. Application notamment à la stérilisation de l'eau potable.
