Abstract

Dispositif producteur de vibrations ultra-sonores, notamment pour le travail ou la soudure de matières thermoplastiques, du type dans lequel l'élément ou sonotrode qui est couplé directement ou par l'intermédiaire d'un amplificateur à un émetteur de vibrations ultra-sonores, est animé de vibrations longitudinales en demi-longueur d'onde, la partie de la sonotrode animée de vibrations radiales en résonance avec les vibrations longitudinales étant utilisée comme organe actif ou de travail, ce dispositif étant caractérisé en ce que la sonotrode comporte une première partie 18 en deux demi-ondes, creuse, dont la deuxième demi-onde est constituée par un tube, et une seconde partie constituée par un anneau 20, disposé dans la zone nodale de la deuxième demi-onde et taille dans la masse de cette dernière, ledit anneau constituant l'organe actif de la sonotrode.
