Abstract

The sun shade can also be used as a wind break and has a pole (P) fixed perpendicularly in the ground. The sun shade has a square or rectangular frame on which fabric (T) is fixed. At the top of the pole there is a universal joint (S) so that the sun shade can be moved in any direction and locked in any position. The frame consists of one arm (B11) rigidly fixed to a block (bi1) fixed to the articulations and three other arms (B21, B31, B41) which pivot on this block. The sun shade can be opened or closed by rotating these arms.
