Abstract

Solar collector has a rear surface consisting of a heat insulating layer (7), and comprises a solar radiation-transmitting cover (9) to prevent losses from convection. A collector panel (6) with an absorption layer is provided with a spiral-pipe system (5) with its inlet beginning in the outer winding and its outlet ending in the inner winding. The cover rests on the edge of the collector panel, which is free from the pipe system, with an intermediate elastic sealing profile (8). Pref. collector panel, sealing profile and cover are inserted in a correspondingly shaped profile (10).
