Abstract

A movable type car rear seat, is made up of a seat (3) and a back (4) which also cover the luggage and compartment (5) with a flap (20). The seat can be moved from a horizontal to a near vertical position, around a pivot (6). The back can also move from a vertical to a horizontal position, around another pivot (7) neart its top. By tilting both the back and the seat the volume of the luggage compartment can be increased considerably. Similarly the back can be moved to a lower horizontal position by unhooking and lifting. In combination with an unhooked seat, a bed can be formed.
