Abstract

The filler gun is used to obtain the correct liquid level in wet batteries and similar. It comprises a handle (8) with an extension (15) for dispensing the liquid, and a rubber tube (4) conveying the liquid. A spring loaded trigger lever (12, 13) squeezes the tube flat (A) and its operation controls delivery. Around the extension outlet is an insulating collar provided with two terminals, spaced apart to indicate the required filling levels. When positioned in the battery orifice, up to a stop filling continues until the liquid reaches the upper terminal. An electrical circuit (5) is completed and a lamp (11) in the handle lights up.
