Abstract

The plough frame is pivot mounted both to the front chassis and to the back carriage. A pivot mechanism is positioned on the front chassis or the back carriage. The plough frame is pivot mounted by means of a linkage (25) mechanism. The back carriage (3) or the front chassis is joined to the frame (17) of the linkage mechanism by means of a horizontal axle crosswise to the direction of travel. A lifting mechanism preferably a hydraulic cylinder is positioned between the frame and the back carriage or front chassis. The mechanism (25) is a quadrilateral linkage with two links (18, 19) hinged to the frame (17), and hinged to a further, fixed link (20) on the frame.
