Abstract

The household water top fitting is made of synthetic material, and comprises a torque limitation device for that transmitted from hand grip to valve. This automatically limits the force of bringing and pressing the valve on its seat, and obviates the onset of deformations in the synthetic material caused through excessive tensions. The torque limiter comprises a ring with stop pawls borne by a nut (24) in engagement with the screw (17') which connects the valve (18), and a toothed crown (29). The crown is connected with the operating hand grip (13), and the stop pawls engage in its teeth.
