Abstract

A switch box used for connecting an appliance, which consists of a wedge-shaped element that clamps on to the busbar. This occurs when the corresponding support is slid into the switch box under a cover, which is lifted. The cover of the busbar (3) is located in a busbar channel between a fixed channel partition wall and the front side of the busbar (4). When the cover is raised it will expose a hole (7) under the partition wall of the channel (6). The wedge shaped element (2) and the contact elements of the appliance are fed through the hole into the busbar channel.
