Abstract

The pallet loader comprises a multitude of pallet lifts (4). Each lift consists of two beams (11) to carry the pallet (15), which are attached to lifting chains (13) driven by toothed rollers (12). Rollers (16) at the bottom of the lifts facilitate the loading and unloading of pallets. Encircling the pallet lifts is an endless chain (18) which has flat bed pieces (5) attached at intervals and which travels horizontally, guided by rails at the top of the loader. These flat bed pieces are loaded with objects (10) from a conveyor, these objects being off-loaded onto the pallets by flaps (23) which can be raised or lowered by a piston and lever (25).
