Abstract

The poultry crammer is suspended from fixture feet by means of a flexible strainer (1) fixed to a fixed or mobile point. The container (2) is in the shape of a tapering come and has a threaded top part on which the did (4) is fixed. The screw rotates at a speed of approx. 140 regulations per minute. The end (6) varies in length between 21 and 30 cm. for a duck and from 35 to 40 cm for a goose. The end (6) can be of stainless metal, galvanized steel, or plastics.
