809,009. Fishing gear. BOOTH, J. W. May 16, 1957 [May 16, 1956], No. 15222/56. Class 48. A swim feeding device comprises a perforated cylindrical container 1 having vanes 4 around its outer surface and having means at one end for securing a length of metal wire or strip 5 to vary its weight and at the other end means, such as a loop of gut and a swivel 7 for attaching the device to a fishing line 8. The vanes may be parallel to the axis of the container or disposed helically; they are inclined at 60 degrees to the container surface and taper towards the end with the metal wire 5. The metal wire or strip may be made of lead and is retained by an end flange 3 on the container. The lead strip may be inserted through holes in the container.
