Abstract

This three wheeled cambering vehicle has a main front frame carrying the steering column with the front wheel and motor. Two parallel bars projecting backwards to carry the rear wheels and foot plates of the vehicle are hinged on either side of a cross strut at the lower end of the main frame so that the rear wheels can rise and fall with the camber of the surface of the road. A double ended lever pivots on the upper part of the main frame. Hinged to each end of the lever is a link bar linking it with the wheel carrying bars so that when the height of the rear wheels is altered the steering column remains upright. The foot plates on which the driver stands are hinged on the wheel bars above the rear wheels, each foot plate has an extension flap which when the plate is tipped backwards catches the wheel surface to act as a brake. In other embodiments the wheels can be replaced by runners or skis.
