Abstract

The water sprinkler nozzle pivots on the vertical centre line (Z) of a fixed tube, and has a rocker arm on a horizontal axis (4) on the nozzle with a spoon at the forward end struck by the jet of water so as to alter the aim of the nozzle, and also equipped with a return device. There is a single arm (3), with stops (8, 9) for limiting its oscillation amplitude inside one or more sectors, so that the nozzle always rotates in one direction. Inside the sectors concerned the rotational speed is increased and the range of the jet reduced as the amplitude is limited.
