Abstract

The dice has fourteen faces and can replace a six-faced dice or be the basis of new games. Six of the faces are square and eight are in the form of equilateral triangles. It is made from a cube by joining the centres of each square face and removing the corners along the diagonals. In this case, the squares will be larger than the triangles and, when playing, squares will predominate. This may form part of the rules of the game. The inequality can be prevented by ensuring the side of each triangle is 1.316 times that of each square.
