Abstract

The boring or trench cutting machine with a hydraulic motor has rotary cutting tools on the projecting end of the drive shaft. A ring of alternating rollers is used to mount the tools on the machine chassis obtaining a robust compact construction without lateral play. The machine has a fixed chassis containing the hydraulic motor, and the drive shaft projects through at least one lateral wall to be coupled to the external tool. Reducers are provided between the shaft and the tool, and a circular system of roller bearings with axial stops, i.e. the ring of alternating rollers, relate the tool to the shaft.
