Abstract

A device for feeding strip material, pref. in the Zn coating of steel strip passing through a Zn bath, has blast nozzles for removing excess Zn as well as two rolls arranged behind one another in the passage direction of the strip for guiding and conveying the strip material between the stripper nozzles, such that the guide roll is immersed in the bath independent of the conveying roll positioned immediately before the strippers and supported adjustably. Device ensures accurate guidance of strip through the blast nozzles and can be adjusted for non-uniformities in the strip.
