Abstract
Cooling of combustion engines, using evaporation cooling where the cooling fluid is evaporated at relatively low temperatures by feeding heat. The vapour is re-liquefied in a cooling device by the extraction of heat. Specifically, the active coolant is the azeotropic mixture of methyl-propyleneglycol and water. The re-liquefaction cooling device is a heat-exchanger in which the vapour delivers its condensation heat to coolant circulating in a separate circuit. This coolant circulates in a pipe system around which air is passed. Further, a temperature controlled choke device (e) is built into the line (2) which passes the coolant vapour.
