Abstract

Support for fixing of shelves to the support walls of cupboards and shelving units includes a support element carrying the base or shelf and a holding pin projecting from the support element and insertable into a recess of the support wall. The support element (12) has the shape of a cylindrical body flattened on one side the height of which is less than the thickness of the corresponding base or shelf and has at the lower end within the area of the flattening (18) a cut off surrounding flange (22) which projects at about right angles from the cylindrical coating surface of the support element. The holding pin (14) projects in the direction of the support wall from the surface formed by the flattening of the support element (12).
