Abstract

The actuator mechanism for doors and windows is provided with a rotatable operating handle. A clutch is provided for partial free rotation of handle in the opposite direction to the actuating movement. The drive for opposite movement of the handle is arranged between the handle and the fitting on the facing ends of the split actuating mandrel. This arrangement ensures that handles of different types can be used without adaptors. The actuating mechanism (22) has a split mandrel (31, 32). The clutch mechanism components (36,37,41,42) ensure the partial free rotating of the handle in the opposite direction to the actuating movements and are arranged between the handle and the actuated fitting the ends of the split mandrel (31,32). The actuating mechanism is hence separated from the handle.
