Abstract

The sugar cane harvester consists of a lopping implement a cutter chassis and grip hinged by means of two pairs of links, and a main chassis on two pairs of wheels. The main chassis comprises two lower members joined by uprights to top members. The chassis members have extensions at the back forming an overhung frame on which is an engine. A bracket supports a tank of hydraulic fluid to feed the pumps. A control cabin is fixed onto an extension at the front of the top chassis members and incorporates a control panel.
