Abstract

The cultivator and drill is attached by a three point coupling (1) to a tractor, and consists of a rotary mechanism (2) formed of a rotor (3) around which are implements (4). The rotor is driven by means of a shaft connecting the power takeoff and the casing (6). An intermediate shaft (7) connects the casing (6) to a side housing. A hopper (9) is positioned above the rotary mechanism (2) and has a distributor (10) in the base. Several pipes (11) lead from the distributor (10), and the bottom ends (12) of the pipes (11) are enclosed, at least partially, by a shield (13) forming a screen between the rotary mechanism (2) and the bottom ends (12).
