Abstract
The three-dimensional lattice-girder consists of a top flange bar (1) which is joined to two bottom flange bars (3) by braces (2) which extend diagonally. A compression or connecting ladder (4) is inserted into the girder and consists of bars parallel to each other and with bottom ends bent along the plane of the ladder to form hooks (5). The bars of the ladder are interconnected by a single tie-bar (6). The tie-bar (6) extends parallel to the lengthwise axis of the girder. The free ends of the ladder bars (4) may project slightly beyond the top of the tie-bar (6). 10mm may e.g. separate the solder points joining the ladder bars (4) and the tie-bar (6) and the top free ends of the ladder bars (4).
