Abstract

Coupling device comprises a core for winding the strands which form the end of the cable, and a sleeve in which the core is engaged and gripped and of which the interior is filled with adhesive. Means are provided for fixing a ring to the sleeve. Pref. the end of the sleeve out of which the cable extends has a surface of diverging shape. Either the sleeve or the core may be made of hard material, while the other is made of material with plastic properties, and the adhesive is pref. a polymerisable resin. The sleeve may be housed in an open-ended body provided at the cable end with a shoulder for supporting the sleeve, and associated with a collar and clamp forming a ring.
