Abstract

The inflatable floating ring, which is made of rubber or plastic, is divided by means of a partition (1) into two chambers (2, 3) which are provided with inflating valves; the said partition (1) extends transversely to the central plane of the ring and its width (b) is approximately equal to one quarter of the circumference of the cross- section of the floating ring. If at first only one chamber is fully inflated, it is nonetheless impossible for the partition to come to rest against the wall of the second chamber. Subsequent inflaiton of the second chamber is therefore also possible.
