Abstract

The unit comprises a rectangular table iwth bench seats on two opposed sides. In the extended form, both the table top and the seat surfaces are horizontal. Supporting frame work positions the front edges of the seats parallel to an slightly offset from the corresponding table edge. The table top is divided into two inter-higing leaves. The hinge axis is parallel to the seats. The leaf edges normal to the hinge axis have downturned cheeks. The hinges locate at the base of the cheeks. The seats are of inverted 'A' frame from in elevation.
