Abstract

Two or more walls (2, 3) are mounted on a base panel (5), and there is a cross wall (4) set between them, at right angles to both the walls and base panel. The base panel is connected by fixture to the firm earth surface. It is pref rectangular, while the walls are roughly triangular, running along the longer sides of the panel. They may be fitted to accommodate cross struts (11). The cross wall may be mounted outside the centre of the base panel. The seatings for the cross struts may be cutouts in the walls, or fishplates form locked to them, with cutouts in them. This is easily erected and secured, and is esp suitable for use in areas where small quantities of snow can cause landslides.
