Abstract

The palletising device has a double arm gripping device(s) mounted on a carriage (4) which is slidable along a rotary column (3). A frame has a plate on which are mounted the control rods for the rotation of the gripping device about a vertical axis. The plate also mounts a swivel ring serving as a connection between the gripping device and the carriage. The gripping device pref. has two pairs of jaws which are pivotally mounted on the arms and driven by piston-cylinder units mounted on each arm. The column is pref. rotated by a chain and sprocket drive.
