Abstract

The door frame is split vertically into two parts (1,2). Each part contains half of the two uprights and lintel in one piece. The larger part has a projection (10) forming the shadow for the door (11) and has a rectangular rebate (15) containing a rubber strip to give a quiet door closing action. The two parts are assembled together after the wall (7) has been erected and have a tongue and groove (3,4) connection which is glued. The door frame fits around a T-shaped projection (6) at the end of the wall, and projects to eliminate the need for covering pieces.
