Abstract

The conveyor can be advanced in steps so that the membranes can be successively moved between a screen printer which applies the design to the membranes and an offset printer which applies the design to the object. The flexible membranes are mounted on flat frames and are brought in to contact with the objects by elastic convex shaped cushions. The conveyor unit for the objects moves on a carriage assembly and a printing position below a rotated transfer element in the printing works. The screens can be heated so that thermoplastic inks can be used. The frames for the membranes are water cooled.
