Abstract

A socket and switch strip fitted between a kitchen wall and upper cupboards and above a work surface is plastic and comprises a corner section (18), with extended sides (21, 22) fitting in the angle between the undersurface of the wall cupboards (12) and the vertical wall (13), and a snap fit socket and switch section (19). The lower edge (24) of strip (18) extends horizontally toward a work surface spash panel (14) and has a channel (23) which receives moulded brackets (41). The brackets have holes (43), either closed or open on one side, and are used to hold kitchen utensils. The sections (18, 19) form a cavity (10) for electrical wiring.
