Abstract

The electric appliance for steam cleaning windows includes thermal insulation between the water reservoir and the cover. Thermal insulation is also provided between the cover and the hot plate, and pressure seals prevent water ingress to the hot plate. The rear face of the hot plate is hollowed out to accommodate the heating elements, and closed by the cover. The reservoir is mounted on the rear of the cover, and two separate feed pipes lead water from the reservoir to the cleaning element. the cleaning element is fixed demountably on the sole of the hot plate and the water feeds pass through the cover and the hot plate. Stops maintain an insulant air gap between the cover and the reservoir.
