Abstract

A bulb carrier for signalling lights on a vehicle, especially a heavy vehicle, and designed to reduce the effect of vibrtion; has the base plate (1) and bulb carrier (3) portions moulded in one piece. The base plate (1) has a square hole (2) through it, and around it are thin strips (4) acting as the connection to the bulb carrier (3). The assembly includes a transparent dome shaped cover (6) secured to the base portion by screws sloping inwards and downwards from the outside, which screw into tapped holes in the bases. A main bulb is housed inside a cup shaped central sleeve (11) under the cover.
