Abstract
The integrated MOSFET differential amplifier has a polarising circuit to ensure that the output is zero when the input is zero. The polarising voltage (U pol) is applied to the gate of the current source in the tail of the differential amplifier. The polarising circuit is similar to the differential amplifier in that it has two amplifying MOSFETs (M') each in series with a load MOSFET (N') in the usual way. The outputs of the two amplifying MOSFETs are added and passed via a unity-gain amplifier (K) to the diff. amp.'s current source and to the polarising circuit's current source (L').
