Abstract

For disposing of radioactive plastic wastes, in particular ion-exchanger resins from nuclear power stations, the ion-exchanger resins are dried before embedding in bitumen in a special drying vessel (1) which is provided with a metering device (10). In the screw kneader (12) serving for mixing with the bitumen, the temperatures should not exceed 120 DEG C.
