Abstract
Electronic means for switching out the circulating pump of a automatically controlled central heating system having a by-pass flow device (4) which is open or closed by motors under the action of control pulses which are a function of the difference between the effective temp. and the desired temp. The relationship between the time duration between successive closing tubes is determined and compared with a predetermined limit value for this relationship. In the case where the lower value of this limit is exceeded, the pump is switched off and is maintained in this state until the first opening pulse of the bypass flow device reconnects the pump (5) in circuit.
