Abstract

The card index is for an office desk and is made of plastics material. It is L shaped, with the horizontal part (6) forming the rest surface, and the vertical part (1) holding a stack of cards. It is intended to be presented as an advertising gift. The stand is made from a single sheet which is first folded through a right angle (2), followed by a fold (3) of 180 deg. then a final right angle fold (4) to give a double thickness L shape. The cards are held between the layers. the whole sheet is pref. transparent, but the upper horizontal portion must be transparent, so that a selected card may be slid underneath for reference.
