Abstract

Downstreamm of the heat exchanger (1) is arranged a radial blower rotor (12). The ratio between the smallest cross section of the inlet nozzle (2) upstream of the rotor (12) and the cross section of the blade inlet cross section of the rotor is specified to ensure high efficiency. The inlet nozzle which projects into one rotor cover plate expands after the narrowest cross section in the downstream direction. This expanding section imparts an outwards directed component to the flows. These flows are thus directed tangentially to the curved part of the rotor cover plate (3).
