Abstract
A combination component, partic. the gas pipe for a rocket motor, is produced by simultaneously forming the parts together with a lining on one of them, and a throat piece at one end. The method is simple. Pref. the gas pipe has an outer metal (e.g. aluminium) part, an inner part and a tube which is screwed on to the end to hold the 2 parts together with an O-ring between. The outer part has a lining of e.g. phenolic/asbestos material, and the inside of the end of the tube has a molybdenum throat piece.
